Experience

Jeanette Chu’s practice consists of defending companies and individuals in employment, professional liability, personal injury, real estate, and breach of contract cases. Ms. Chu’s employment practice includes defending companies and individuals in sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour actions. Her professional liability practice includes defending attorneys in legal malpractice and malicious prosecution actions.

Education

Ms. Chu earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Ecology and Conservation from the University of St Andrews. She received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School with a certificate of specialization in International and Comparative Law. She also served as a Public Interest Law Foundation Treasurer and 3L Class Treasurer.

Admissions

Ms. Chu is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, the United States District Court for Eastern District of California, and before all Virginia State Courts. Prior to joining Miller Law Associates, APC, Ms. Chu represented international corporations and individuals in commercial disputes in federal and state court and international and domestic arbitration.
